Ellie Bianca Gives a Touch of Hope
Hope plays a major influence in our journey back to our customary way of life. There is only so much we can do while our front-line workers help provide and protect the community. The inspiration behind a Touch of Hope is rooted in our pillars of being Kind to Your Skin, Kind to the Earth and Kind to Women. As a brand that advocates kindness, we felt the urge to keep ourselves and our community afloat through the resources we have.
Under the keen leadership of our Founder, Evelyne Nyairo, we took the initiative to launch our Touch of Hope bundle which contains our all-natural liquid hand soap and sanitizer that is kind to our skin and helps protect us - donating 100% of the proceeds to the Ellie Bianca Foundation; a scholarship used to support single mothers in Canada and individuals in Africa by bringing them a step closer to completing their education.
Since the launch of the Touch of Hope campaign in December, we have sold over 200 units, raising over $3000 for the Ellie Bianca Foundation. Giving back to the community goes beyond the holiday season and we want to continue spreading a Touch of Hope to communities around the globe all year long.
Our intake is open until March 3rd, 2021 and the criteria for the scholarship is;
- Be over 18 years of age
- Is a parent of at least one minor child.
- Currently pursuing a technical, vocational, or first degree on a full time or part-time basis
- Demonstrate leadership abilities
- Write a letter of motivation describing why they are deserving of the scholarship

Further to this we were also fortunate enough to be able to spread smiles and hope to those who were having a difficult time during the holiday season. In collaboration with Blush Lane Organic Market, Routine Cream All-Natural deodorants, and Hear Me Raw Plant-Based Superfood Snacks, we were able to put together a beautiful gift basket curated with products they would love, as well as a cash gift card they could spend on themselves for the holidays.
Founder, Evelyne Nyairo, remains steadfast in her commitment to giving Touch of Hope throughout the year. And Ellie Bianca stands in solidarity with all the frontline workers, businesses, and individuals who are working tirelessly to keep the rest of us safe. The proceeds from the gift sets will continue to be channeled to our women's scholarship and other charitable ventures.
