First Girl we sponsored completes university degree

We are excited to share that Lenah Oyori, the first girl we had sponsored completed her studies and graduated with a degree in Computer Sciences. We met Lenah (an orphan) in 2012 during a trip to Kenya. We could not avoid noticing her enthusiasm and eagerness to get a higher education. We immediately made the decision to support her financially to achieve this dream.

Connecting Strong Women event with Special guest Odette

This event in connection with FairTrade Calgary brought together a group of passionate women all looking to make a difference in the community. The fundamental ingredient used in Ellie Bianca Skincare, Shea was a topic of discussion used as an example of what it means to conduct fair and direct trading. Our guest came all the way from Chad and shared with us about the work Ellie Bianca is doing in Chad and the impact it has made in the community, particularly for woman and children.

Ellie’s Birthday Campaign, a Success!

The namesake and an inspiration of our brand, Ellie shared her birthday wish with two girls in Kenya. In celebration of Ellie’s birthday month, we raised funds for two courageous young women who needed our assistance to continue school. Our campaign contributed 10% of all purchases in September towards a brighter future for Risper and Villain who are so eager and determined to go to school but faced uncertainty.

Featured in Fashion Magazines top 5 Cool Gifts from Calgary

During the busiest shopping time of the year, Ellie Bianca was honoured to be featured in Fashion Magazines “Top 5 Coolest Gifts from Calgary”. A great way to showcase women empowerment and luxurious skincare.

Introduction of Luxe Spa Line

The diversification of the Ellie Bianca product line brought to the market a luxurious facial serum collection that quickly became our most sought-after products. These highly effective, scientifically formulated serums targeted the top concerns from our clients. Each one embodied a specific purpose from anti-aging, acne prone skin, and restoring the radiant glowing complexion. Exclusively available at our flagship store in Calgary and select spa retailers.

Expansion and Growth into the United States

An important achievement for Ellie Bianca this year brought us to a new market south of the border. The debut and increased distribution will be a delight to the global client base. Our first US trade show at Indie Beauty Expo (IBE) in New York introduced Ellie Bianca to new opportunities and connections. We met co-founder of IBE, Jillian Wright highlighted Ellie Bianca in an interview with Happi Magazine. The article featured some show standouts that encompassed brands with a positive social cause that aligned with the mission of the Expo. We will be returning to the US this January for the next IBE show happening in LA.
