ELLIE BIANCA WOMAN: Sandy Jung
An avid fashion blogger and passionate corporate leader, Sandy Jung is a native Calgarian who feels connected to this community that she calls home.
“Community means, collaborating with, and supporting everyone from all generations, industries and walks of life” she explains. “Taking time to not only listen to people but also really hear what they have to say and find ways, through my own experiences and roles, to help people in my community.".
Q: What does community mean to you and how do currently support your community?
A: Community means working together and collaborating, and supporting everyone from all generations, industries, and walks of life, and really just being authentic and building relationships, and really listening to what people’s needs are what they really need help with. I think it's about not just listening but really hearing what they have to say and their stories and finding ways through my own life experiences and the roles I have and finding ways to help and support them.
Q: What does it mean to be part of the Ellie Bianca Woman’s Campaign?
A: Being part of the campaign is special, I love how Evelyne supports kindness. Kindness to people, earth, women, our skin. I think kindness is a really important foundation in community and it’s something we should spread with no expectations in return. It's really something everyone deserves to have so I think Evelyne’s skincare line and what she stands for really embodies that.
Having been in the oil and gas industry for over 25 years and recently launching and running her fashion blog, Sandy has collaborated with people from a vast array of backgrounds, quickly learning the importance of relationship building and community. She feels kindness is extremely important and resonates with our company’s three pillars: Kind to Your Skin, Kind to the Earth, and Kind to Women.
“I think kindness is a really important foundation in community and it’s something we should spread with no expectations in return. Everyone deserves kindness and Evelyne’s company is an embodiment of that.”
Despite her busy lifestyle, Sandy is committed to prioritizing projects that speak to her most and always making time for her friends, family, and travel, spreading kindness along the way.
Q: What is one word to describe yourself?
A: Well I think kindness is the word funny enough, that describes me. It’s something that I truly believe in as a person that I have no matter who I meet and who I come across, in various communities that I am a part of. If you take the time to truly listen to them, it’s not about who they are or what they do. Everyone deserves to be successful and there’s always a way for people to find their potential and growth so I think through kindness if you support these people you can really help them reach their potential and goals and be successful in their own ways, so yes kindness is the best word to describe myself.
Q: What is your favourite Ellie Bianca product?
A: The new Radiance Serum!
Thank you so much for being a part of this campaign, Sandy! We're constantly inspired by the way you approach life and the women you connect with. Make sure to go show her some love on Instagram!
